ACGS - Quality Fishing, with Quality People

cover

February

Hi Guys,

Well, as of last week, we finally have enough ice to ice fishing on, over a "month" late!!! We now have over 10 inches of ice. Even though we are going through a few days of rain, I think we will be able to make it through the rest of the winter. Here are some photos from our first group of guys, who just left today. We also added a few more photos from last winter to fill in, and that was the first time we had to do that!!!! so, if any of you want to ice fish this winter, come on up!

NO SHOWS THIS WINTER

As I mentioned in the last update, after 45 years, we decided not to attend any more sports shows. the main reason for that , is like many other businesses in the country, we are very low on "help.'' After having more than a dozen fishing guides for many years, we are down to just a few. In our business we have over 80% repeat business (old customers) . with many of our customers coming to fish with us more than twice a year! We need to take care of our regulars first. If you are one of those guys who come every year, especially in the spring, please give us a call as soon as you can. We are booking up fast.

Eclipse

If any of you are interested in the total solar eclipse on April 8th give us a call. The eclipse is going to be right over us and we are going to have a special package for that. Usually the pond still has ice on it and that would be a great place to watch it. Also, right across the road from us, is a trail to a mountain above us, which is clear at the top for excellent viewing. If you are interested or someone you know is, have them give me a call. 518-963-7351. that's it for now and hope we have a lot of ice fishing photos for the next update

Bye for now,

Pete
