There is no doubt that we have one of the best ice fishing ponds in the northeast located right behind our lodge.  The pond which is about 400 acres, and that's a big pond, contains quality northern pike, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass and a good mix of a variety of different pan fish.  I will be available to teach  and guide clients during those times when I'm not attending the sportsmen shows during the winter months.  If you want to learn how to ice fish and don't have any of your own equipment don't let that stop you from coming to our lodge to learn.  We can schedule a trip when I will be at the lodge to teach and guide you using our equipment.  If you have your own equipment you can come to our lodge anytime that we have an opening to ice fish on your own.  Give me a call (518-963-7351) or send me an email to talk about ice fishing conditions or to make an ice fishing reservation.  We normally have good safe, thick ice by the first week of January and it lasts until the middle of March. We can accommodate snowmobiles and 4 wheelers once the ice gets thick enough for the extra weight.
