Our NEW Pocket Tee Shirt
This shirt is Cabela's Dri-Release Legendary Short-Sleeve Pocket Tee Shirt.   These shirts feel like silk because they are 85% Polyester/15% Cotton and wear like iron.  They are made of a dry release fabric and there is no shrinkage. They have a tag less label and the collars do not sag.  The color will not fade after many washings and the material wicks perspiration away and they dry very quickly.  We are presently offering the shirt in only one color, Heather Gray and only in two sizes, Large and X Large, to see how they sell.  The shirt has our Long Pond Lodge logo silk-screened right on the front pocket.

On the back of the tee-shirt, silk-screened in a large format, in full color, is our Adirondack-Champlain Guide Service logo.  These shirts sell for $25.00 each and should cost twice that amount for the value you are receiving.  Look for these shirts when you come to the lodge and remember you can try them on before you purchase one or two of them to take home.

 

The NEW Lodge Hat
The hat is really special and comes in an Olive Green color.  It is a low profile hat and has the Long Pond Lodge logo embroidered right on the front of it, along with the smallmouth bass.  The bass alone has over 7000 stitches in it.  The material is Cabela's top quality, unstructured garment-washed twill and should wear like iron.  The visor is pre-curved and the hat has a brass buckle tucked strap adjustable closure on the back.  The hat is an outstanding value at only $12.00 each.  We hope everyone will want to own this new souvenir hat, so purchase one or more on your next visit to the lodge.

"Lubricating Sheath"
We have had the hook cutting diagonal pliers in our store for some time and they have sold very well.  We just added a new "Lubricating Sheath" to hold these unique pliers.  The sheath is made of industrial grade vinyl which stretches to accept a large variety of hand tools.  The interior sleeve surrounds and conforms to all tools that are inserted into the sheath.  If you periodically spray WD-40 into the opening of the sheath it is absorbed into the sleeve.  A light coating of WD-40 is applied, each and every time, to any tool inserted into the sheath which lubricates and cleans them in use and storage for a very long time.  We are offering a special price if you purchase the hook cutting pliers and the sheath at the same time.  You can receive both items for a special price of only $20.00, a savings of $2.00.  If you purchase the items separately the cost is $22.00.  That is $12.00 for the pliers and $10.00 for the lubricating sheath.  For those of you who have already purchased a pair of our hook cutting pliers now you can purchase the proper holder to protect and lubricate the pliers for years of trouble free maintenance for only $10.00.  The pliers and sheath can be seen in the display case at the lodge.  We have a limited number of these special tool holders so don't wait too long to purchase yours.

Cutting Pliers
The next product can be purchased with the new sheath above or without.  It is an 11" Extra Long, 45-degree Bent Diagonal Cutting Pliers that have Black Matted dipped handles for a comfortable hold and added leverage.  This tool can be used to save the life of most fish that have been hooked in the throat for only $12.00.  Check out the bonus if you purchase the Cutting Pliers and the Lubricating Sheath at the same time and save $2.00.

The Champlain "Tall Buoy" Marker!
We offer for sale this "Tall Buoy" marker.  A great tool to mark rock piles, reefs and any under water structure that might hold fish.  It has been developed and refined over several years of testing right on Lake Champlain.  It is safety orange in color and highly visible in all light conditions.  It is over 20" tall and it will stand straight up in the roughest wave conditions, and it will withstand years of wear and tear.  The buoy comes with 25 ft. of braided polyester rope that will not rot and does not float.  A 4 oz. environmentally safe, plastic coated weight is affixed to the end of the rope to keep it in the  exact location you want it.  The cost is only $20.00 for this great fishing tool. 

Souvenir Lodge Mugs
This project has been on the drawing board for the last couple of seasons.  Recently I asked Fred Johnson from Cohoes, New York to develop the concept of a souvenir mug that we could offer for sale to our clients at the lodge.  My daughter Crystal actually came up with the idea.  I wanted something unique, something different, something that every time you used it you would remember the great times shared with others here at Long Pond Lodge.  I don't know how many hours Fred spent searching the web to locate just the right company to tackle this project but I'm sure it took a great many hours of searching.  Once he found the right company he still had to come up with an acceptable design. 

Well I'm thrilled and pleased to tell you that all his hard work has paid off and we have a souvenir mug that we hope everyone will want to own..

This is a white, ceramic mug, screen printed with two colors on both sides with images you will recognize, see images below.  Two images, in four different colors, makes this mug different from all other mugs on the market today.  The mugs will go on sale at the lodge as soon as they arrive at or around October the 9th for a mere ten dollar bill.  I did say $10.00 and that includes the sales tax.  The mugs will be on display on the breakfast table and in the display case each morning at the lodge so check them out.  Please ask Jane or I if you're interested in purchasing one or more of our souvenir mugs, and we sincerely hope you are.
